It’s the International Day of the Girl – a day to bring attention to girls’ rights and the various challenges that they face all around the world.
For 2022 the theme of International Day of the Girl is “Our time is now – our rights, our future”.
The aim is to raise awareness and ambition of girls everywhere and to make sure they get equal access to the same opportunities as anyone else.
2022 is actually the 10th birthday of the International Day of the Girl!
