(EAST photo)<\/p>\n<p>TAIPEI (Taiwan News) \u2014 Taiwanese animal welfare activists on Thursday (March 10) joined an initiative demanding that McDonald\u2019s cease the use of cage eggs in its restaurants in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Protests involving eight animal protection groups took place in 11 cities, including Taipei, Seoul, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Jakarta, Bali, and Yogyakarta.
